Job Summary
In the position of a US FOODS Driver, you will be a crucial team member and a visible face representing our organization. Your responsibilities will be essential in successfully delivering our products to customers at their designated drop-off sites.
Roles and Duties:
- Safely navigate trucks to customers' locations and honor agreed-upon delivery schedules
- Unpack products from the trailer by utilizing a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manual labor, and carefully store them in the specified customer storage sections
- Double-check the delivery accuracy by confirming with customers and obtaining the necessary signatures
- Execute the management of customer payments and collections when required
- Provide professional customer service to optimize the client's overall experience
- Undertake thorough equipment assessments before setting out and after completing trips
Physical Requirements
- The position requires individuals to repetitively handle products weighing between 20 and over 80 pounds by lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling during each shift
- Demonstrating comfort with driving and working in challenging weather conditions, which involve frequent stops (at least 10 per shift), is required
What You Bring to the Table

- You must have exceeded 20 years to be considered
- A CDL Class A issued by the state of domicile, along with the essential endorsements and in compliance with DOT regulations, is a prerequisite
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Being able to drive a manual vehicle is preferred and could be obligatory in specific regions
- Effective communication in English, understanding of highway traffic signs, cooperation with official requests, and accurate record-keeping are essential requirements.
