Job Summary
Being a US FOODS Driver is an essential position that involves being a vital part of our team and acting as a prominent representative for our organization. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our products reach our customers at their specified delivery points.
Roles and Duties:
- Drive trucks securely towards customers while ensuring timely deliveries as per the schedule
- Gently transfer goods from the trailer using equipment like a two-wheeler or pallet jack, or by manually handling them, and store them in the specified customer storage spots
- Confirm the accuracy of deliveries by verifying them with customers and securing the necessary signatures
- Administer the collection and handling of payments from customers as required
- Execute customer service tasks in a professional manner to elevate the quality of the client experience
- Complete inspections of all equipment before and after each journey
Physical Requirements
- Candidates must be capable of repeatedly moving products weighing 20 to 80+ pounds during their work shifts
- The ability to operate vehicles and perform duties in adverse weather conditions while making frequent stops (more than 10 per shift) is a must
What You Bring to the Table

- Individuals must be 21 years old or above to meet the criteria
- A legitimate CDL Class A issued by the state of domicile, endorsed appropriately, and meeting DOT criteria is essential
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Proficiency in driving a manual vehicle is desired and could be a requirement in particular regions
- Capability to converse, comprehend highway traffic signals, cooperate with official investigations, and record information is required for this role.

- Pay is determined by the applicable experience and/or educational background, specific competencies, job function, location, and other relevant elements as required by law.
- The person in this role will receive additional pay for working extra hours and a bonus for remaining in the position.
