Job Summary
In the role of a US FOODS Driver, you will be an indispensable team member and a recognizable figure representing our company. Your role will be pivotal in delivering our products to customers at their specified drop-off locations.
Roles and Duties:
- Safely navigate trucks to customers' locations and honor agreed-upon delivery schedules
- Use a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or physical exertion to remove goods from the trailer and place them in the assigned customer storage spots
- Verify the accuracy of deliveries by cross-checking with customers and getting the correct signatures
- Fulfill the task of managing customer payments and collections when applicable
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the overall client experience effectively
- Make sure to conduct thorough equipment inspections prior to trips and after returning
Physical Requirements
- Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to repetitively manage products weighing 20 to 80+ pounds by lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling during their shifts
- Competence in managing adverse weather situations and making numerous stops (exceeding 10 per shift) is mandatory
What You Bring to the Table

- You need to be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A from the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and adherence to DOT qualifications, is a must
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Being able to drive a manual vehicle is preferred and could be obligatory in specific regions
- The position mandates the capacity to converse fluently in English, interpret highway traffic signs and signals, cooperate with official inquiries, and accurately input data.
