Job Summary
Being a US FOODS Driver is a significant position that involves being an essential part of our team and serving as a prominent representative for our company. Your efforts will be instrumental in delivering our products to customers at their designated drop-off points.
Roles and Duties:
- Drive vehicles cautiously to deliver goods to customers punctually and as per the planned timetable
- Efficiently offload items from the trailer with the assistance of a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manual handling, and store them in the designated customer storage areas
- Ascertain the accuracy of the delivery by checking with customers and obtaining the required signatures
- Undertake responsibility for processing customer payments and collections where applicable
- Perform customer service tasks with expertise to enhance client interaction and satisfaction
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks diligently
Physical Requirements
- Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to repetitively manage products weighing 20 to 80+ pounds by lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling during their shifts
- Necessary skills include operating in difficult weather conditions, along with making frequent stops (above 10 per shift)
What You Bring to the Table
- Join the FMCSA Clearinghouse through the registration portal
- The age of 21 is the minimum threshold for participation
- It is necessary for the individual to have a valid CDL Class A from their state of legal residence, endorsed as required, and meeting DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Capability in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be essential in certain spots
- Competence in the English language is necessary for engaging in discussions, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and documenting information.

- Pay is established according to the relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as required by law.
- The individual selected for this role can expect to receive overtime payment and a bonus for staying in the position.
