Job Summary
As a US FOODS Driver, you will play a critical role in our team and be one of the important faces of our organization. Your efforts will have a direct impact on our customers by delivering our products to their drop-off site.
Roles and Duties:
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers by safely driving trucks according to set schedules
- Carefully extract items from the trailer with the help of a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manual handling, and organize them in the designated areas for customers
- Verify the accuracy of deliveries by cross-checking with customers and getting the correct signatures
- Conduct transactions with customers for collections and payments as needed
- Provide professional customer service to optimize the client's overall experience
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks diligently
Physical Requirements
- The job necessitates the repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of products weighing between 20 and over 80 pounds throughout the shift
- The ability to operate vehicles and perform duties in adverse weather conditions while making frequent stops (more than 10 per shift) is a must

- The age limit is set at 21 years
- Possessing a legitimate CDL Class A from the state of legal residence, endorsed as needed, and meeting DOT requirements is obligatory
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Proficiency in driving a manual vehicle is desired and could be mandatory in certain regions
- Proficiency in the English language is vital for engaging in conversations, comprehending highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
